Grandstream GXP 1450, 2100, 2110, 2120

This section is going to inform you about the Grandstream trademark and some of their products that you may need in IP telecommunicaion. If you intend to build up an advanced Private Branch eXchange (PBX) like Ozeki Phone System and use IP phones in the network, this page will be the perfect guide for you.

As you can see in Figure 1, the Grandstream products can be connected to your Ozeki Phone System PBX. With these devices, just like with any other IP devices, you can inititate phone calls on the Internet. These phone calls are always arrive to the called parties, as your Ozeki Phone System ensures it.

Grandstream GXP Series

With the help of a Grandstream IP phone, you can easily get an access to your Ozeki Phone System features:

  • these phones can manage more than one SIP accounts (2 for the 1450, 4 for the 2100 and 2110 and 6 for the 2120)
  • they all have an access key to voicemail service
  • they all support wideband HD audio codec G.722
  • they all have a high quality speaker
  • they all have a headset jack
  • they all have backlit LCD
  • the 2110 and 2120 has up to 2 extension modules
  • they all support HTTP, HTTPS, XML and others and other file formats
  • they all capable to manage QoS, ToS, VLAN and DSCP network connections
  • they all support IPv4 and Ipv6 (Internet Protocol version 4 and 6 – two methods of creating IP addresses, the IPv6 is the latest)
  • they all support safe SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), TLS (Transport Layer Security), SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol), Open VPN (Virtual Private Network) and other connections

Grandstream IP phones and your Ozeki Phone System PBX

Independently from which type you choose among Grandstream GXP IP phones, it is easy to setup and use with your Ozeki Phone System. The setup process looks like this:

  1. start your Ozeki Phone System webGUI (graphical user interface) and click on Connections, than Extensions
  2. install a new extension with clicking on the "Install" button and fill out the form with the few user data required
  3. please plug in the Grandstream IP phone (to the electrical network and to the VoIP network)
  4. press the MENU button on the device and find "SIP settings" in the menu
  5. type in the same user data that you have given to the new extension in your Ozeki Phone System webgui

Now your Grandstream IP phone is ready to be used with your Ozeki Phone System. To connect all your Grandstream phones, you have nothing else to do but to repeat this fast and easy process with each Grandstream IP phone you want to connect to your Ozeki Phone System PBX.
