  • Choose the extensions and outside lines you want to monitor by selecting their checkboxes

  • Define the file format, the recording path and any other specifications on the 'Preferences' tab

How do I know that recording is in progress?

In the left side of the screen, where you can see all of the extensions and outside lines installed in Ozeki Phone System XE, there is a 'red filled circle' next to those entities that are currently under recording.

So, the selected checkbox means that you have chosen that particular extension or outside line for recording, and the 'red filled circle' refers to the ongoing voice recording.

Can I replay the recordings within Ozeki Call Recorder?

Yes. Click on the 'Recorded files' tab, where you can find all of the recorded conversations. Select the file that you want to replay then double-click on it.

Ozeki Call Recorder opens your default media player application that you have assigned to the specific media formats. (For example, if you have selected Windows Media Player as a default media software for .wav files, .wav recordings will be played in Windows Media Player. If your default media software for .mp3 files is Winamp, your .mp3 recordings will be played in Winamp.)
