In order to install and configure Ozeki Phone System you need to configure some network elements. The center of the phone system is Ozeki Phone System PBX. It receives incoming phone calls and forwards them to the various communication devices: to desktop devices, softphones, mobile clients or other software based VoIP solutions (e.g. autodialer software or call center). Internal calls and outgoing calls are also run through Ozeki Phone System XE. You can read more about network elements on the following page: VoIP network elements

How to configure your PBX

Once you have installed and configured Ozeki Phone System, you need to configure the client devices, as well. All desktop devices, softphones and other VoIP clients need to be connected to Ozeki Phone System for efficient communication. For this purpose, you need to know through which SIP accounts it is possible to initiate phone calls. Clients need to be configured one by one; however, due to the automated tools, Ozeki Phone System is able to do certain basic settings automatically.

During phone system settings, you also need to consider the fact that the PBX uses various network resources during operation. Seamless and efficient operation can be ensured by providing broadband Internet connection. It is necessary because simultaneous phone calls require high Internet connection.

Furthermore, router and firewall settings are also critical. Incorrect firewall settings may cause interruptions and further mis-functions during phone calls. However, damaged wires can also cause similar problems, so if this issue still occurs, please also check wires.

Keep in mind

Since phone systems such as Ozeki Phone System uses various network resources during operation, you need to pay attention for their configurations. After you have installed and configured the PBX, client devices also require some configurations. For seamless operation, you also need to ensure the proper broadband Internet connection. Finally, firewall settings also need to be checked for efficient communication.
