How to Make VoIP Calls with Android SIP Client

Setting up a SIP Client:

  1. Obtain a SIP account from a SIP provider, who gives you a username and password.
  2. Get an Android SIP Client, such as:

  3. Get a broadband Internet connection
  4. Configure your SIP Client in Settings menu.
  5. Create a SIP account.
  6. Fill in the required information like user name and password, display name, domain etc.
  7. Finish the process by clicking OK
  8. Make a test call or call an available friend, almost exactly as if you were making a traditional phone call to test the service.
