getWidth() method

If an OzCamera object is added to the program, this method can run on it. It is used to get the width of the video stream in pixels.

Returns

width: Type: number. The width of the camera display in pixels.

Method usage example

In this example we will change the width of the video stream to 320 if it is bigger then 320 (Code example 1). 

//constructor of the myCam object, the default camera is used
var myCam = OzCamera.getCameraByName(); 

if(myCam.getWidth() > 320) //if width is bigger then 320 pixels
	myCam.setMode(320, myCam.getHeight(), myCam.getFps()); //sets width to 320 pixels
